Alex Gorbachev

Few DBAs are as well equipped as Alex to handle any kind of database scenario. Alex has architected and designed numerous successful database solutions addressing challenging business requirements. Alex is a respected figure in the Oracle world and a sought-after leader and speaker at Oracle conferences around the globe. He regularly publishes articles on the Pythian blog and runs online webinars. Alex is a member of OakTable Network and an Oracle ACE Director.

Today, Alex is working at The Pythian Group. He started at Pythian in Ottawa, leading a team of database experts before moving to Australia to embrace the challenges of setting up company business in the East Asia/Pacific region. Now he's back in Ottawa as Pythian's Chief Technology Officer, continuing to bridge the gap between business and technology. The search for the perfect fit between technology, engineering talents and business processes is what keeps him up at.

FRANCISCO MUÑOZ

Francisco’s has over 23 years of experience in consulting, analysis, support, implementation, and migration of Oracle products; he is also an expert in most phases of a database life cycle as per example: Development, Stabilization, Security, Backup and Recovery, Tuning, Installations, and Data warehouse (“ETL”) with excellent implementation and support methodologies.
Currently finishing to write his first Oracle book that will be published by Packt Publishing called “Oracle 12c Backup and Recovery Survival Guide)

Deiby Gomez

Deiby Gómez es un DBA experto. Es el primer Oracle ACE de Guatemala, uno de los primeros tecnólogos certificados en Latinoamérica en Oracle Exadata Database Machine X3. También está certificado en Oracle RAC 11g and Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Database 12c Certified Professional entre otras. Es autor de varios artículos publicados en el sitio oficial de Oracle, es miembro de OraWorld-Team y también escribe artículos para Toad World, presidente del grupo de usuarios Oracle en Guatemala y publica constantemente artículos en su blog www.oraclefromguatemala.com.gt. Deiby estará participando en el OTN Tour también en los países de Guatemala, Brasil y El Salvador. ;

Brendan Tierney

Brendan is an Oracle ACE Director, independent consultant and lectures on Data Mining and Advanced Databases in the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland. Brendan has extensive experience working in the areas of Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Data Architecture and Database Design. He has worked on projects in Ireland, UK, Belgium and USA. He has been working with the Oracle database and tools since 1992, starting with Oracle 5, Forms 2.3, ReportWriter 1.1. Brendan is the deputy editor of the UKOUG Oracle Scene magazine and is the deputy chair of the OUG Ireland BI SIG.

René Antúnez

René Antúnez es un DBA y blogero habitual con más de 7 años de experiencia, trabajado para empresas en los primeros 5 lugares del Fortune 500 , especializado en soluciones de desastre y recuperación , así como soluciones de alta disponibilidad RAC & Data Guard. Actualmente labora para “The Pythian Group” y de igual manera, es un conferencista en eventos locales, así como IOUG Collaborate y Oracle Open World.

 

Arturo Moreno

Arturo Moreno se desempeña como arquitecto de soluciones en Volante desde hace 5 años. En este tiempo ha realizado proyectos de integración para empresas como Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Bank of NewYork Mellon y Master Card.

Tema : Integración y transformación de mensajes financieros
Existen diversos estilos para llevar a cabo una integración de sistemas. Uno de los más utilizados es la mensajería. La mensajería permite integrar sistemas de forma confiable y asíncrona. Además, la mensajería mantiene el desacoplamiento entre sistemas a través del uso de diferentes formatos de mensajes. Estos diferentes formatos de mensajes nos obligan a, tarde o temprano, traducir de un formato a otro para que los distintos sistemas puedan entenderse entre sí. En esta presentación se explorarán diversas técnicas y niveles que se involucran en la transformación de mensajes tomando como ejemplo formatos comúnmente utilizados en la industria financiera.

Marc Sewtz

Marc Sewtz is a Senior Software Development Manager at Oracle Corporation in New York. With over eighteen years of industry experience, Marc held roles in Consulting, Sales and Product Development and now manages a global team of Software Developers and Product Managers in the Oracle Application Express (APEX) development team, part of the Oracle Database Tools group. Marc and his team are responsible for features such as the User Interface and Theme infrastructure, the Mobile development capabilities, Reporting, Charting, Tabular Forms and PDF printing. Marc has a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, Germany.

Gurcan Orhan

Awarded Oracle Excellence Awards, Technologist of the Year - 2011 : Enterprise Architect. Oracle ACE Director of Business Intelligence expertise. Experienced mostly on data warehouse architecture and ETL development. Have been working with database systems since 1994. Developed his first data warehouse in 2003 with Oracle 6i. He has used almost all well known DBMS systems, modelling, ETL and BI tools, but experienced mainly on Oracle Data Integrator as a data integration tool. He is also one of the board member of TROUG (Turkish Oracle User Group) and Chairman of TROUG BI&DWH SIG and is a active member of ODTUG, UKOUG and NYOUG.

Debra Lilley

Debra Lilley is an Oracle ACE director and a user experience advocate for Oracle. She is also involved in the leadership of the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) and a past chairman of the Product Development Committee for the International Oracle Users Group Community (IOUC). Noel Portugal

Noel Portugal works with the Oracle Applications User Experience group helping shape the next generation of Enterprise Applications. With over 10 years of experience in Application Development he has architect, developed and deployed a number of internal Oracle applications. Most of Noel's focus is to bring to life proof of concept ideas by prototyping functional examples that eventually become part of Oracle's core products. Noel's innovative spirit has helped Oracle to stay current with the latest trends in the User Experience arena. Noel is also an avid enthusiast and evangelist of the so called Internet of Things where he aims to bring all outside innovation into the Enterprise world. Ricardo Gonzalez Acuña

Product Manager for the Latin American Region for the TimesTen In-Memory Database and Oracle In-Memory Database Cache products. Contact with the current and potential customers in the region. Creation of training materials for the Sales and Support departments. Expositor at different venues. Booth duty at Oracle events such as the annual Oracle Open World in San Francisco.

Glenn Schwartzberg

One of the world’s few Oracle ACE Board Directors for Business Intelligence, Glenn Schwartzberg, Oracle ACE Director, has been pleasantly trapped in the world of IT for over 25 years. He’s now risen to be one of interRel Consulting’s top Essbase architects. Glenn is a founding member and board director of the ODTUG Hyperon SIG board. He is certified in more versions of Essbase than most people realize existed and these days, he spends most of his time working with clients on their most difficult and unique projects. In his spare time he spreads his knowledge of Essbase and its associated products by lecturing, teaching, answering questions on EPM forums, blogging, webcasting, and evangelizing. Pedro Andrade – Oracle MySQL Team

Pedro Andrade es responsable por el desarrollo comercial de MySQL en Latinoamérica. Con más de una década de experiencia en la industria, ha introducido tecnologías a nuevos mercados para Apple, Dell, Verizon (MCI), y Vignette, entre otros. Originalmente empleado por MySQL Americas Inc., ha llevado por años el mensaje a la comunidad, desarrolladores y clientes de MySQL sobre la evolución de la tecnología y oferta comercial a través de Sun Microsystems, posteriormente Oracle.

Manuel Contreras – Oracle MySQL Team

Manuel es Ingeniero en Sistemas Computacionales, con especialidad en software, esta certificado como: MySQL DBA y es usuario de MySQL desde hace más de 7 años. Apasionado del software libre, Manuel ha trabajado para Sun Microsystems desde el año 2003 como arquitecto de soluciones, enfocado principalmente en promover el uso de software open source como es: Java, Open Solaris / Linux, Glassfish, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, entre otros. Manuel es también programador Java EE, y esta certificado como Sun Java Programmer y Sun Java EE Web Developer, combinando sus conocimientos en programación y administración de base de datos, para el análisis y diseño de arquitecturas de software con tecnologías de código libre
